Most Excellent Tenants
I’ve had these tenants for almost a year now and they are just amazing. People just never fail to surprise me. The tenants in question are three younger (20-22yrs) single girls and they are, without question, the best tenants I have ever had. They are polite, responsible, patient, clean and a joy to interact with.
For example:
If they are going to be late paying the rent (which is very rare) they call BEFORE the first of the month to let me know what the deal is. This is in stark contrast to other tenants who behave as if I never called them to ask where the rent is, they would act like they don’t have to pay rent at all.
When things go wrong, they don’t freak out and call me at 2am screaming about a constantly running toilet. They turn off the water supply to the toilet and call me (calmly) in the morning. I then get over there immediately to fix the problem because they must remain MY tenants at all costs.
Because these girls are such good tenants, they NEVER pay late charges and when they renew their lease in a month, they will receive $150 in restaurant gift cards in their “thank you for renewing” letter.
Why oh why can every tenant not be like this?
