Local Investor Attempts To Sway Housing Market
So, recently I was looking through Google News and ran upon these two stories which seemed very similar. Amusingly, it turns out that the same guy wrote the exact letter to two different newspapers, changing only the name of the newspaper, and both papers proceeded to publish the letter.
Becoming suspicious, the readership of both newspapers did a little research and found that the guy who wrote the letters owns about 10 rental units in his town of Wellington which is located in Palm Beach County, FL.
The online readers proceeded to post comments ripping the guy to shreds as being biased and “just another strung-out investor feeling the pinch of the housing market.”
I’m really curious to know if this guy thought that he could single-handedly move the local housing market to his will by writing one letter. I guess maybe that that would work in the offline world but this is the inter-tubes baby!
